The Witcher game series
CD PROJEKT RED, 2007-2016
A dream come true of a job. We’re talking over 250 days of creative work.
I came up with the choreography to all parts of the saga – I was responsible for the movement style of witchers as well as other characters, including monsters.
The Witcher
In 2005 after a rather exciting casting process, I was chosen to perform as Geralt. I was also tasked to invent the witcher’s combat style. A year later I became the co-creator of the first stunt motion capture session in the history of Polish games.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
The second part of the game allowed me to develop a distinctive combat style to make it even more coherent and provide players with even more satisfaction. I also prepared group finishers, which make the combat more cinematic.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Here, I achieved the ultimate form of the Witcher’s signature combat style. I also recorded combat moves for other beloved characters such as Olgierd (Hearts of Stone) and Dettlaff (Blood and Wine).
I crafted the choreography and performed as Geralt in acclaimed “Killing Monsters” cinematic trailer.
